You will be joining the Technical Sales department, whose main focus is to support our Sales representatives with all technical aspects regarding our products.
\n\tOur Head Office in Centurion will be the base where you work from together with traveling to client sites and back. Traveling usually occurs over a 3-4 day period where company transport is provided.
\n\tYou will be responsible for all technical-related aspects of your area in a fast-growing and ever-expanding company. You will be challenged to provide pump system-related solutions in the form of a proposal based on a variety of variables and requirements. \u00a0<\/p>\n
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tAssist in selecting and specifying pumps to best meet the customer\u2019s needs.
\n\tCompile technical reports and proposals.
\n\tGuides customers on a technical basis to the appropriate product.
\n\tProvides first-line technical support and consulting for pump applications.
\n\tOn-site assistance with installation of products.
\n\tDo system analysis and fault finding on-site and compile reports with the necessary solutions and root cause analysis.
\n\tAssist Sales representatives in presenting proposed solutions to clients.
\n\tRequired to meet or exceed Customer Support quality assurance standards on a consistent basis.\u00a0<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:<\/p>\n
\tMust display a strong mechanical and or process engineering ability.
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tDisplays the ability to organize and maintain various files and sheets.
\n\tExcellent experience with computers and software, especially MS Word and Excel.
\n\tCapable of communicating to a technical or non-technical audience.
\n\tStrong written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tRequires an energetic and driven employee that is a self-starter and can take ownership of all technical related aspects of his area<\/p>\n
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\tB.Eng or BSc.Eng degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering
\n\t0-2 years of working experience
\n\tPump-related experience will be advantageous<\/p>\n
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a valid drivers license
\n\tMust be willing to live out 3-4 days of the week
