\tEngage with a variety of colleagues at all levels as well as external service providers
\n\tSupport and advise all internal BU\u2019s on all legal matters
\n\tContinuously liaise with and provide information\/feedback to and explain legal processes to relevant parties
\n\tLiaise, provide instruction to and manage external legal service providers when necessary
\n\tClarify and scrutinize information and advice provided

\nProvide teamwork and support across the Legal and Corporate Services BU<\/p>\n
Legal Compliance and Legal Risk Management<\/p>\n
Ensure legal compliance and good governance with applicable legislation, rules, directives and all V&A policies and procedures at all times<\/p>\n
Assessment of risk for the business in all matters<\/p>\n
Identify risks and implement controls and actions in order to mitigate these as required<\/p>\n
Establishing and implementing appropriate procedures and processes as required<\/p>\n
Agreements<\/p>\n
\tDrafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements for the business, including service legal agreements, marketing related agreements, various leases and related development agreements, and all ancillary documentation relating to the conduct of the business.
\n\tReviewing and alignment of template agreements for all BU\u2019s including residential related
\n\tagreements, mooring related agreements, marketing relation agreements, commercial leases, retail leases, service level agreements
\n\tAt all times taking account of:
\n\tstakeholder considerations
\n\tcommercial considerations
\n\tthe operational considerations of the business
\n\tAt all times being proactive; efficient and effective<\/p>\n
Dispute Resolution<\/p>\n
\tStrategic decision making in respect of practicality, risk assessment and cost\/benefit analysis
\n\tAttend to all dispute resolution in respect of the business, including instituting and defending formal proceedings
\n\tInstructions to and management of external legal counsel as necessary
\n\tAt all times taking account of:
\n\tstakeholder considerations
\n\tcommercial considerations
\n\tthe operational considerations of the business
\n\tAt all times being proactive; efficient and effective<\/p>\n
General Legal Advice<\/p>\n
\tProvide accurate, informed and understandable legal advice on a wide range of matters for all BU\u2019s, as required
\n\tProactively identify emerging, new and existing legislation, rules and directives relating to the business and interpret the impact thereof on the business.

\tLLB Degree
\n\tAdmitted Attorney<\/p>\n
Experience requirements relevant to this job:<\/p>\n
\tCompleted Legal articles
\n\t5+ Years Relevant Corporate Experience, preferably in the property management field<\/p>\n
