{"id":35862,"date":"2026-05-14T10:04:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T10:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/it-service-desk-administrator-head-office-edenvale-x-2-area-regional-manager-gauteng-store-supervisor-midd\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T10:04:51","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T10:04:51","slug":"it-service-desk-administrator-head-office-edenvale-x-2-area-regional-manager-gauteng-store-supervisor-midd","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/it-service-desk-administrator-head-office-edenvale-x-2-area-regional-manager-gauteng-store-supervisor-midd\/","title":{"rendered":"IT Service Desk Administrator &#8211; Head Office &#8211; Edenvale X 2 \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Area \/ Regional Manager &#8211; Gauteng \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Store Supervisor &#8211; Middelburg Mall &#8211; Mpumalanga (3 Months Contract) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Second In Charge &#8211; Downtown Mall &#8211; Mpumalanga (3 Months Contract) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            IT System Administrator Hardware &#8211; Head Office &#8211; Edenvale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What is the purpose of this job?<\/p>\n<p>\tTo effectively respond to, process and resolve customer calls and incidents logged with the service desk, through operational excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tAdhere to all internal processes and policies in order to minimise potential disruption to business activities<br \/>\n\tProvide first line technical support to resolve service desk incidents and re-route the query or escalate as and when required<br \/>\n\tProcess all requests accurately and with maximum efficiency<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all tickets are addressed in line with Service level agreements\/business expectations<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all incidents logged with the service desk are captured on the system according to established standards<br \/>\n\tEnsure accurate and timeous resolution of all calls<br \/>\n\tShare learnings from incidents logged with the service desk team and line manager<br \/>\n\tEscalate all incidents, service requests or issues in line with levels of authority and provide feedback to customers<br \/>\n\tProvide relevant feedback on all unresolved incidents<br \/>\n\tAssist with the setting up of workstations with computers and required devices such as routers and printers, and configure appropriate software and functions according to requirements<br \/>\n\tAssist with providing administrative support services for servers, desktop and laptop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, telephones, smartphones, application deployments, resetting of passwords and security updates<br \/>\n\tAssist with troubleshooting activities, resolve problems and connectivity issues and mitigate operational risks<br \/>\n\tActively support and participate in major incidents, changes and releases, disaster recovery planning and implementation projects as and when requested<br \/>\n\tAddress any gaps in knowledge or information of major incidents and raise any queries regarding instructions and guidelines to address queries, communicate status and the impact on clients<br \/>\n\tShare knowledge of previous incidents, solutions, and technical skills with team members<br \/>\n\tMaintain relationships with all customers and stakeholders in line with SLA\u2019s to achieve operational excellence<br \/>\n\tEffectively address client frustration and required service level delivery<br \/>\n\tMaintain methods of communication to keep stakeholders informed and build effective relationships<br \/>\n\tProvide administrative and technical support to the IT department and line manager<br \/>\n\tEnsure a clean and safe environment by applying housekeeping principles<\/p>\n<p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12 or equivalent qualification required<br \/>\n\tIT certificates an advantage<br \/>\n\tRelevant IT Degree (BCom, BSc) or related qualification an advantage<br \/>\n\tMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience as a Service Desk, Help Desk Administrator required<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated experience in supporting technical desktop, laptop, and Point of Sale issues<br \/>\n\tExperience in a retail environment an advantage<br \/>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Signature Cosmetics","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Signature Cosmetics & Fragrances is a Proudly South African beauty brand with stores across South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.
