\tMatric certificate \/ N2, or equivalent NQF 4 qualification
\n\tProficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
\n\tMechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate as recognised by the MQA
\n\tMaintenance Supervisor Certificate \/ TMM Foreman Certificate
\n\tMinimum knowledge of 7 years\u2019 experience as an Artisan (inclusive of excellent safety and production results)
\n\tMinimum 6 years of experience on Drill Rig will be advantageous
\n\tWorking knowledge of applicable legislative, safety, health, and environmental requirements and standards
\n\tGood SHEQ knowledge, Mining logistics knowledge
\n\tGood knowledge of M&A equipment
\n\tAdvanced troubleshooting skills
\n\tRelevant computer skills, Basic report writing skills
\n\tSouth African Driver\u2019s License (Code 8-10) is essential
\n\tSouth African Citizenship

Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tImplement and monitor maintenance of equipment to the required maintenance strategies
\n\tMonitor the implementation of and adherence to operating and maintenance procedures
\n\tReporting on daily performance
\n\tMonitor the equipment performance (trend analysis and rectify deviations)
\n\tRecommend redesign of systems to improve the maintenance strategy and safety of the business
\n\tImplement and manage projects for continuous improvement
\n\tEnsure efficient utilisation of resources to fulfil maintenance strategy requirements
\n\tConduct daily planned task observations
\n\tOrder material and equipment
\n\tEnsure proper maintenance of equipment
\n\tEnsure that materials and equipment are used for the purpose designed for
\n\tReclaim and reuse previously used equipment
\n\tImplement systems and ensure compliance with audits
\n\tConduct all work according to required standards and specifications
\n\tAdhere to MHSA standards & Gold1\u2019s safety motto: \u201cNothing is so important that it cannot be done safely.\u201d
