Context of Role<\/p>\n
\tPerform integrated IT and operational audits.<\/p>\n
Perform audits of various IT general controls and security aspects including:<\/p>\n
\tRisk based IT audits (e.g. IT projects, application systems, general IT controls, CAATS, IT Security, databases, operating systems and technology platforms)
\n\tPre and post- implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements.
\n\tIT security audits (e.g. network, operating system and data center), including evaluating if security vulnerabilities are properly identified and mitigated.
\n\tIT general computer controls
\n\tIT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning\/ disaster recovery and information security
\n\tDesign internal audit procedures and work programs.
\n\tAssist in audit engagement planning and reporting activities.
\n\tCoordinate, plan and execute audit activities within the organisation and develop and implement complex IT audit test plans.
\n\tDetermine audit scope and objectives (based on annual & quarterly audit plan) and prepare audit work plans.
\n\tCoordinate with business, finance, project and compliance teams to obtain inputs for audit processing and schedule meetings with management to clearly understand the company processes and policies.
\n\tConduct audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.
\n\tIdentify key areas of risk within the organisation and propose appropriate controls (recommendations) to mitigate the risks.
\n\tPrepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan.
\n\tDiscussion audit findings and recommendations with management and in the provide an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls in the organisation or divisional areas.
\n\tProvide insight on divisional risks and associated mitigating controls.
\n\tUtilise data assurance and analytical techniques to analyse data to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
\n\tDeep understanding and experience with managing IT risks and controls, i.e. use technical and industry knowledge to identify technology, process and data risks.<\/p>\n

\tCertified Information Systems Auditor
\n\tA Certified Internal Auditor will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Job-specific experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in IT audit, of which at least 3 years must have been in the resources and\/or manufacturing industry.
\n\tA member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and Institute of Internal Auditors.
