An established vehicle dealership in East London is seeking a hardworking, organized and methodical Accounts Administrator to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full account’s function and ensuring accurate, timeous financial processing.<\/p>\n
Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 minimum with 3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in an accounting or finance administration role
\n\tStrong knowledge of accounting principles and processes
\n\tExperience working on accounting software plus MS Excel (essential)
\n\tAttention to detail and numerical accuracy
\n\tTime management and ability to work under pressure
\n\tTeam player with ability to work in an open-plan office environment
\n\tReliable, professional and dependable<\/p>\n
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tProcessing debtors and creditors transactions
\n\tPerforming account reconciliations (debtors, creditors and general ledger)
\n\tProcessing journals accurately and timeously
\n\tManaging petty cash, banking and daily receipting
\n\tLoading EFT payments and managing online banking functions
\n\tHandling account queries and resolving discrepancies
\n\tSupporting inter-department, inter-branch communication and follow-ups
\n\tAssisting with stock counts and related administration
\n\tGeneral office administration duties
\n\tProviding switchboard relief for approximately one hour once a week
\n\tEnsuring accurate filing and maintenance of all financial records<\/p>\n
