Job description<\/p>\n
\tThe primary role is to conduct post investment due diligence and monitoring of investments in your allocated NEF portfolio
\n\tTo conduct due diligence on application from investees for further funding and obtain approval from the relevant committees per DOA
\n\tPeriodic site visits to investee companies.
\n\tOversee investee legal compliance
\n\tInvestee valuations and impairment calculations
\n\tQuarterly risk analysis and reporting of investee companies (NEF internal and external)
\n\tLiaison with internal and external audit departments
\n\tManage the NEF mentor panel of consultants per NEF investment
\n\tMonitor and report back on Empowerment Dividend data
\n\tEarly identification \/ flagging of potential areas of non-compliance and defaulting clients
\n\tAttend investee board (if nominated) as and when required
\n\tAttend internal departmental committee meetings as and when necessary<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
Experience \/ Skills Required<\/p>\n
\tAt least 5 years deal making\/investment experience.
\n\tStrong Project Management and Corporate Finance and\/or Venture Capital experience (minimum of 5 years).
\n\tCompleted articles or have strong audit experience.
\n\tGood working knowledge of key commercial statues and regulations (e.g. Taxation, Companies Act, Commercial Law, Litigation and Insolvency Law).
\n\tFinancial modelling.
\n\tAbility to analyse and interpret financial statements.
\n\tConduct enterprise valuations and exits on large complex deals.
\n\tProven track record of managing a diverse investment portfolio from a post investment perspective.
\n\tVarious industry sector experience.
\n\tPortfolio risk analysis experience.
\n\tPC: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint competency at an advanced level
\n\tStrong report writing skills
\n\tUnderstanding of enterprise valuation and exit valuation methodologies from a post investment perspective<\/p>\n

\tGraduate degree \u2013 minimum B.Com. (Business and Finance, Accounting).
