Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tTo provide client service by applying sound credit risk management principles with approved credit mandates through management of a designated portfolio of clients across multiple products enabling Nedbank to reduce the cluster impairment charge with the view to rehabilitate the client, in line with the business or individual turnaround strategy.<\/p>\n
Key Deliverables<\/p>\n
\tCredit and Credit Risk\u00a0assessment and collections of arrears\/excesses of all products namely Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Home Loan accounts, Commercial & Industrial Property, Personal Loan accounts, Term loans and Asset Based Finance {motor vehicles\/yellow} goods.<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tApprove annual review of facilities by making decisions based on the credit risk policy guideline and credit norms in conjunction with relevant Nedbank strategy and the analysis based on the information provided.\u00a0
\n\tAnalyse\/Assess individual and juristic financial statements.
\n\tDevelop client exit or rehabilitation strategies by conducting inter-alia review of client facilities.
\n\tEnsure policies and processes are followed within mandated signatories including checking and confirming the sign-off.
\n\tEnsure policies and procedures are followed by reviewing recommended submissions from other parties.\u00a0
\n\tManage default accounts timeously by obtaining acceptable repayment arrangements or handover portfolio to legal collections.
\n\tApprove funding by making decisions based on the credit risk policy guideline and credit norms in conjunction with relevant Nedbank strategy and the analysis based on the information provided. \u00a0
\n\tGive an overview of the book by developing and preparing portfolio review presentations based on Management Information Systems (MIS).\u00a0
\n\tAdapt to changes in Legislation by enforcing the compliance to the changes.
\n\tEnsure clean audit in area of responsibility by enforcing adherence to bank policies, process and procedures and industry regulations.
\n\tImplement sound credit risk management by providing advice on specialized credit risk matters to cross functional teams and direct reports, where applicable
\n\tRecommend enhancement to processes by constantly seeking innovative improvements to the credit systems.
\n\tMotivate staff where applicable to perform and contribute to the success of the business by creating environment of teamwork through engaging with staff (sharing information) and encouraging participation in decision making processes \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience Level<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Credit role in a Banking environment\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 5 years’ experience Analysing\u00a0and Assessing\u00a0individual and juristic financials.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualification<\/p>\n
\tSuccessfully compelted NQF Level 6 of Higher in a Finance or Credit-related field<\/p>\n
