Our client is seeking a Sales Representative to drive sales growth and maintain strong customer relationships within the glass and aluminium industry.<\/p>\n
Minimum skills and experience required:
\nDuties and Responsibilities:
\nSales & Business Development<\/p>\n
\tActively source and develop new business opportunities within the glass and aluminium market
\n\tMaintain and grow relationships with existing clients, including contractors, developers, architects, and walk-in customers.
\n\tPromote and sell the company\u2019s glass products and services in line with company pricing and margin requirements.
\n\tMeet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tProvide professional advice to customers on glass products, specifications, and applications
\n\tAttend to customer enquiries, walk-ins, and site-related queries promptly and efficiently
\n\tHandle customer complaints and queries, escalating where necessary to management<\/p>\n
Quotations & Orders<\/p>\n
\tPrepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements and specifications
\n\tFollow up on quotations to secure orders
\n\tEnsure all sales orders are correctly captured and processed
\n\tLiaise with production, dispatch, and installation teams to ensure timely delivery<\/p>\n
Market & Industry Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tMust have glass experiences.
\n\tMaintain up-to-date knowledge of glass products, industry trends, and competitor activity.
\n\tIdentify opportunities to improve product offerings and sales processes<\/p>\n
Administration & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate sales records and customer information
\n\tSubmit regular sales reports to management
\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and pricing structures<\/p>\n
Health, Safety & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures
\n\tEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and company regulations
\n\tComply with company code of conduct and ethical standards<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) \u2013 essential
\n\tSales or business-related qualification.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 2\u20133 years\u2019 sales experience, preferably within the glass, aluminium, or construction industry
\n\tProven track record in achieving sales targets<\/p>\n

\n\tGood understanding of glass products and measurements
\n\tAbility to read basic drawings or specifications
