OVERALL PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThis role will form part of the Investment Support team within our Operations unit and will be a back office supportive role supporting Client teams across the business. The individual must ensure a high quality and consistent client service delivery of tasks. The individual will assist in the execution of investment administration instructions and various Investment accounting related tasks within an accurate way and by respecting appropriate deadlines.<\/p>\n
PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/p>\n
INVESTMENTS<\/p>\n
\tInputting non-automated investment transactions in our in house integrated database systems
\n\tAccounting and Journal entries to be posted for conversions, capital calls and distributions
\n\tPreparing subscription\/redemption instructions for Alternative Investments (Single Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Property Funds etc)
\n\tCollating KYC, FATCA, CRS and compliance documentation for fund administrators and other third parties
\n\tPreparing SWIFT payment instructions
\n\tManaging and executing instructions like corporate actions, proxy votes, conversions, capital calls and distributions<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tAppropriate degree or higher diploma and 5 to 8 years of experience in working in the financial industry would be an advantage
\n\tSTEP qualifications would be an advantage but at least a good understand of basic information re Offshore Trust and Company and the relationship between Trust and Company, Trustee and Beneficiaries
\n\tComputer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook and modern financial accounting packages)
\n\tSubscription processing i.e. Document completion, KYC and AML understanding of complex structures, SWIFT Payment
\n\tKnowledge of Corporate Actions i.e. Capital Calls, Distributions, Proxy Votes, AGMs<\/p>\n
