\tThe Assistant Complex F&B Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating all day to day food and beverage operations for the Restaurant, Room Service, Conferencing and Functions at the Hotel and all details pertaining to functions being held in keeping with the Capital Hotel Group\u2019s standards. \u00a0The position is primarily concerned with three main functional activities: \u00a0supervision, front of house and administration. The incumbent will assume the role of second in charge to the F&B Manager and will take the lead in the absence of the F&B Manager as and when needed.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tHospitality Management Qualification
\n\t2 \u2013 3 Years Assistant Food and Beverage Management experience
\n\tPrevious Restaurant Management experience beneficial.
\n\tStrong Food and Wine knowledge.
\n\tProven Staff Management experience of a team of 45 staff and more
\n\tHands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
\n\tCustomer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills
\n\tFriendly, courteous and service-orientated
\n\tAbility to work as part of a team, as well as independently
\n\tEffective communication with members of staff as well as Guests of the Hotel
\n\tHonest and trustworthy beyond approach
\n\tGreat attention to detail
\n\tPresentable\/Professional appearance and well spoken
\n\tTeam Player who leads by example
\n\tProactive in approach
\n\tInterpersonal skills
\n\tLeadership skills
