Purpose of the role<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure that accurate binning, picking, receiving, and packing of the FLSmidth product is being successfully executed according to standard operating procedures<\/p>\n
Key performance areas:<\/p>\n
\tReading and interpreting pick and pack slips to ensure speedy quality delivery to customers.
\n\tSet up and or operate hand and electrical tools.
\n\tRegularly inspect equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
\n\tEnsure housekeeping standards are maintained and adhered to at all times.
\n\tAssist the department manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
\n\tAttend to all meetings as scheduled by the company and department.
\n\tPerform other duties as assigned.
\n\tComply with OHS Act, Quality Control Procedures, and Product Specifications.
\n\tDaily cycle counting and stock taking as and when required.
\n\tCorrect allocation of bin locations and binning of stock received.
\n\tReceiving of deliveries.
\n\tUnpack and place part numbers on received stock.
\n\tFilling in of Bin Cards.
\n\tDaily Cycle counting.
\n\tBinning of Stock.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tAt least 5 years’ experience in a relevant fast-paced environment.
\n\tMatric.
\n\tComputer literate.
\n\tForklift license will be an advantage.
\n\tMust be willing to work overtime.
\n\tCrane license will be an advantage
\n\tGood computer skills.
\n\tGood communication skills in English.
\n\tDeclared Physical fit to handle heavy-duty e.g. lifting up to 25kg regularly and 45 kg occasionally, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods of time, and manual dexterity.<\/p>\n
