We are looking for a driven, high-energy Account Manager to take ownership of a retail territory in Cape Town. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building senior relationships within retail head offices, and selling value-driven solutions that improve business operations and customer experience.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and manage a strong pipeline of retail opportunities
\n\tIdentify, target, and secure new business within retail organisations
\n\tEngage with key stakeholders (buyers, operations, IT, procurement, executives)
\n\tPresent solutions clearly, linking features to business impact
\n\tConduct needs analysis to uncover client challenges and opportunities
\n\tDrive the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals
\n\tBuild and maintain long-term client relationships
\n\tAchieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
\n\tCollaborate internally to deliver seamless customer solutions
\n\tStay up to date with industry trends and market developments<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\t3-10 years B2B sales experience (solution\/consultative selling)
\n\tProven track record in new business development and closing deals
\n\tExperience engaging with senior decision-makers
\n\tStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
\n\tAbility to build and manage a sales pipeline independently
\n\tRetail\/FMCG industry exposure is advantageous
\n\tTech\/telecoms\/digital solutions exposure is beneficial
\n\tSelf-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute<\/p>\n
