Job Description:<\/p>\n
\tThis role will be responsible for end-to-end processing of payroll data whilst ensuring all service level agreement targets adhered to.<\/p>\n
KEY TASKS<\/p>\n
Operational Delivery<\/p>\n
\tTimely & accurate capturing of payroll input data
\n\tAdherence to payroll calendars and deadlines
\n\tLiaise with customers and third parties on payroll queries within 48 hours and provide regular feedback to clients
\n\tNet pay comparison checking & payslip checking
\n\tUnderstanding of payroll calculations and able to do payslip interpretations\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarise with Client\u2019s policy and procedures
\n\tAudits and self-audit conducted on SAP data vs source documents
\n\tExtract and submit the earnings report for Rand Mutual Assurance
\n\tKnowledge of payroll related legislation which includes the BCEA, Tax Act, Medical Aid and Pension fund regulations\u00a0
\n\tConduct affordability checks for the SARS IT88 deductions
\n\tAssist with UAT Testing on an adhoc basis
\n\tContribute to continuous improvement of processes<\/p>\n
Risk and Controls<\/p>\n
\tCompliance to all internal controls
\n\tControls to be accurately and timely executed\u00a0
\n\tReport and log incidents immediately upon detection
\n\tEvidence of control checks and payslip simulation to be archived as per archive policy
\n\tAssist in internal and external audit process<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tPayroll Certificate (Recognition of prior experience)<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t2 \u2013 4 years\u2019 experience of working in payroll
\n\tRelated SAP, Navigator + and SNOW (Service Now) experience
\n\tRelated Excel skills<\/p>\n
