Job Overview:
\nResponsible for conducting Internal ASHA Lab Audits<\/p>\n
\tSupport during FSSC 22000 and AIB Audits. Provide support during trials, commissioning or new projects. Responsible and accountable for Laboratory specific projects. Coordinate projects related to improving food safety and quality systems.<\/p>\n
Key deliverables<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for equipment calibration on shift in order to determine accurate information, In addition, day to day lab analysis<\/p>\n
Calibration of lab equipment<\/p>\n
\tScales, NMR, Auto titrator, FTIR, pH Meter, etc<\/p>\n
Reports equipment deviations to Lab supervisor and trouble shooting<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Conduct troubleshooting for out of specification: analytical results, equipment<\/p>\n
Control of stock requirements<\/p>\n
\tWeekly stock take and reporting stock level to supervisor\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsible for routine sampling and testing of incoming materials, WIP and finished goods<\/p>\n
\tIncoming Potatoes, oil, seasoning \u2013 document results and labelling of stock with release or reject stickers
\n\tCapturing of results on system<\/p>\n
Conducts product quality tests and investigate out of specification results and implement corrective actions<\/p>\n
\tSeasoning, weigh control checks, packet quality assessment, case counts, date code checks during the shift
\n\tEnsure all data reports are completed and the results communicated at the end of each shift
\n\tOversee hourly process Weaklink results to ensure that plant runs according to standard
\n\tAttend daily Quality Wall meetings \u2013 process and packaging
\n\tEnsure adherence to all procedures and policies, analytical testing methods, ASHA requirements<\/p>\n
Conducts Line inspections<\/p>\n
\tATP swabs, Allergen swabbing including managing and supporting all foreign objects management on the line<\/p>\n
HACCP monitoring and filing of records<\/p>\n
\tCheck completion of HACCP records<\/p>\n
Ensure that AIB, food safety and quality standards are maintained throughout<\/p>\n
\tReport non-conformances noted during shift line patrols<\/p>\n
Manage and control all On Hold, rejected and released stock<\/p>\n
\tPlace hold\/reject\/release stickers on affected stock

Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDiploma: Food Technology (or equivalent in experience)
\n\t1-3 Laboratory Experience
\n\tExperience with GC
\n\tComputer Literacy
\n\tWritten and Oral communication<\/p>\n
