PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:<\/p>\n
\tEnsures that overall sales and profitability goals for the store are met
\n\tProviding training to all associates
\n\tAssisting the store manager in the development of staff in compliance with adidas retail growth objectives and support the store\u2019s succession plan
\n\tOverseeing the daily operation of the store and assuring compliance with adidas retail policy and procedure.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSupports the store manager by implementing and maintaining a staff structure that minimizes payroll expenses and increases productivity, (monthly planner) using sales ratio performance balance.
\n\tAssists the store manager by evaluates employees\u2019 performance on a day-to-day basis
\n\tAssists the store manager to spot talents, potentials and training needs
\n\tManage IR matters, ensuring timely and consistent handling of employee concerns and compliance with policies
\n\tPerform or assist in the completion of all documentation associated with applicants, new hires, payroll.
\n\tEffectively utilize customer service, training, educational tools, and communication to develop staff in relation to adidas retail goals.
\n\tMaintains personnel files to company standards.
\n\tAssure adherence to all company systems and procedures.
\n\tMaintain confidentiality of adidas retail operating information.
\n\tAssure compliance with legal statutes and safety guidelines in overall management of store and associates.
\n\tObtains the necessary skills, experience, and training from daily interaction with store management and outside training to develop necessary skills to assure promotability to next level.
\n\tAssure adherence to adidas retail visual presentation guidelines.
\n\tImplements the security procedures set forth by adidas head office including, but not limited to shrinkage control, and safety inspections.
\n\tAs needed, assists in the development of merchandising, advertising and promotional programs to help meet the sales and marketing goals of the store.
\n\tResolving customer complaints.
\n\tAssists in maintaining inventory levels by communicating with the store manager overages and shortages of product.
\n\tAssists the store manager to implement and maintain management systems for planning, organization, and controlling and auditing store operations.
\n\tOther duties may be assigned<\/p>\n
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
\n\tAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.
\n\tAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
\n\tAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
\n\tAbility to use MS word, excel, outlook, and point of sale systems.
\n\tAbility to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
\n\tAbility to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills.
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n\tAbility to effectively present to moderate size groups.
\n\tAbility to attend work in a regular and predictable manner.
\n\tKnowledge of how to supervise others.<\/p>\n

\tMatric Certificate
\n\tMinimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role
\n\t4+ \u00a0years of retail experience<\/p>\n
