{"id":36185,"date":"2026-05-19T16:02:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T16:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/deputy-store-manager-meadowdale\/"},"modified":"2026-05-19T16:02:46","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T16:02:46","slug":"deputy-store-manager-meadowdale","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/deputy-store-manager-meadowdale\/","title":{"rendered":"Deputy Store Manager &#8211; Meadowdale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PURPOSE &amp; OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsures that overall sales and profitability goals for the store are met<br \/>\n\tProviding training to all associates<br \/>\n\tAssisting the store manager in the development of staff in compliance with adidas retail growth objectives and support the store\u2019s succession plan<br \/>\n\tOverseeing the daily operation of the store and assuring compliance with adidas retail policy and procedure.<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tSupports the store manager by implementing and maintaining a staff structure that minimizes payroll expenses and increases productivity, (monthly planner) using sales ratio performance balance.<br \/>\n\tAssists the store manager by evaluates employees\u2019 performance on a day-to-day basis<br \/>\n\tAssists the store manager to spot talents, potentials and training needs<br \/>\n\tManage IR matters, ensuring timely and consistent handling of employee concerns and compliance with policies<br \/>\n\tPerform or assist in the completion of all documentation associated with applicants, new hires, payroll.<br \/>\n\tEffectively utilize customer service, training, educational tools, and communication to develop staff in relation to adidas retail goals.<br \/>\n\tMaintains personnel files to company standards.<br \/>\n\tAssure adherence to all company systems and procedures.<br \/>\n\tMaintain confidentiality of adidas retail operating information.<br \/>\n\tAssure compliance with legal statutes and safety guidelines in overall management of store and associates.<br \/>\n\tObtains the necessary skills, experience, and training from daily interaction with store management and outside training to develop necessary skills to assure promotability to next level.<br \/>\n\tAssure adherence to adidas retail visual presentation guidelines.<br \/>\n\tImplements the security procedures set forth by adidas head office including, but not limited to shrinkage control, and safety inspections.<br \/>\n\tAs needed, assists in the development of merchandising, advertising and promotional programs to help meet the sales and marketing goals of the store.<br \/>\n\tResolving customer complaints.<br \/>\n\tAssists in maintaining inventory levels by communicating with the store manager overages and shortages of product.<br \/>\n\tAssists the store manager to implement and maintain management systems for planning, organization, and controlling and auditing store operations.<br \/>\n\tOther duties may be assigned<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.<br \/>\n\tAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.<br \/>\n\tAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.<br \/>\n\tAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
