We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reconciliations, tax compliance, audit support, cash flow assistance, and preparation of annual financial statements for group companies.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and management reports
\n\tAssist with monthly cash flow and banking transactions
\n\tSupport internal and external audits
\n\tSubmit VAT, PAYE, Income Tax and provisional tax returns
\n\tPrepare annual financial statements using Draftworx
\n\tEnsure SARS and IFRS compliance
\n\tMaintenance of statutory annual return filing, beneficial ownership declaration and compliance monitoring on CIPC<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBCom Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or National Diploma in Accounting\/Finance
\n\tCompleted or studying towards SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA qualification advantageous<\/p>\n
Key Skills & Experience<\/p>\n
\tStrong Excel and Sage experience
\n\tKnowledge of VAT, SARS legislation & IFRS for SME
\n\tExperience with financial reporting and reconciliations
\n\tUnderstanding of audit processes
\n\tHigh attention to detail and accuracy
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\tGood communication and time management skills
\n\tCaseWare experience advantageous<\/p>\n
