Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tTo conduct accurate and efficient store procedures and related control.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nStores or Warehouse Operations Execution<\/p>\n
\tReceive, store, issue, return and dispose of materials and stock items in a compliant and timely manner.
\n\tEnsure compliance with established procedures and company standards to maintain effective control over the physical product flow into and out of the store.
\n\tEnsure high levels of housekeeping are maintained.
\n\tAccept all deliveries of stock for the stores and ensure that they are not damaged, and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
\n\tDraw and despatch items from the stores as requested and process in accordance with delegations of authority and system requirements.
\n\tReturn stock to suppliers for replacement, where necessary.
\n\tComplete GRN for stock received from suppliers.
\n\tAdminister all paperwork and delivery notes.<\/p>\n
Stock and Inventory Control<\/p>\n
\tTrack the stock and inventory in the store.
\n\tMaintain minimum and maximum stock thresholds at all times.
\n\tOrganise inventory to facilitate accessibility and safety for those working in the store.
\n\tConduct stocktakes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
\n\tConduct daily cycle counts as instructed.<\/p>\n
Safety and Security<\/p>\n
\tSafeguard the stock in the stores at all times against loss and damage.
\n\tComply with applicable company policies.
\n\tConduct housekeeping in accordance with standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n

\tTake ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritising, and self-development.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of grade 12 or equivalent qualification
\n\tAt least 2 years previous warehouse\/stores experience<\/p>\n
