\tTWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Sales Representative: Maize Meal within the Grain division at Lowveld, Mpumalanga.<\/p>\n
Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tThis role involves driving and supporting the sales of maize meal, animal feed, and related industrial products through proactive customer engagement, market development, and relationship building.
\n\tThe position focuses on growing market share, providing technical product support, and ensuring the effective execution of sales, contract, and reporting processes in alignment with business objectives within the FMCG and Animal Feed sectors.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
\tAchieve monthly and annual sales targets for maize meal, animal feed, and related products
\n\tIdentify and secure new business opportunities while expanding the existing customer base
\n\tBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and support
\n\tDrive repeat sales and increase volumes with existing clients
\n\tProvide accurate product information and market insights to customers
\n\tStay informed on market trends, pricing structures, and industry developments
\n\tResolve client queries and issues professionally and timeously
\n\tPrepare and manage sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and proper authorisation
\n\tCoordinate with logistics to ensure efficient delivery and follow up on orders and payments
\n\tSubmit accurate sales reports and maintain up-to-date client records
\n\tMonitor competitor activity and report on market intelligence
\n\tAdhere to internal policies, pricing protocols, and regulatory requirements
\n\tIdentify and report potential operational or trading risks
\n\tAttend industry events, training sessions, and workshops as required<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tRelevant qualification in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, or a related field (advantageous)
\n\tQualification in Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management
\n\tProven experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management
\n\tKnowledge of the grain industry, including pricing, market trends, and regulations
\n\tExperience in agricultural sales or commodity trading (advantageous)
\n\tFamiliarity with grain logistics, quality standards, and contract management (advantageous)
\n\tStrong sales and negotiation skills
\n\tAbility to analyse market data and identify opportunities
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n\tStrong organisational and administrative abilities
\n\tAbility to manage multiple clients, territories, and deadlines
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license (Code 08)
\n\tWillingness to travel regularly<\/p>\n
