Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 Certificate.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in public administration \/ B-Tech in Public Management or Relevant degree.
\n\tA wide knowledge of municipal governance.
\n\tCertificate in municipal governance will be an added advantage.
\n\tA sound understanding of municipal operational systems and Integrated Development Plan (IDP)
\n\tMore than eight (8) years\u2019 experience of which 3 years should be at managerial level
\n\tUnderstanding relevant laws in local government.
\n\tEffective multidisciplinary management skills
\n\tExcellent communication and networking skills
\n\tA valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
Reporting to Municipal Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following functions:<\/p>\n
\tProvide strategic advice and guidance to the service centre managers to ensure high performance and achievement of departmental goals.
\n\tDevelop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery at the service centres.
\n\tOversee the daily operations of services centres including the handling of customer inquiries and resolving escalated issues in timely and professional manner.
\n\tTo respond to service centres customer enquiries.
\n\tTo champion the revenue collection at service centres and oversee the performance of all centre managers.
\n\tMonitor and assess the response time and customer satisfaction and implement corrective actions as needed.
\n\tDirect and supervise the work of service centre managers.
\n\tSupporting the accounting officer with alignment of service centre functionality and municipal goals.<\/p>\n
