ROLE PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThe Assurance Engineer will have to provide high-level, high-quality assurance role to Vodacom Business cooperate clients, in the Customer Services Operations Centre (CSOC).<\/p>\n
ROLE REQUIREMENT<\/p>\n
\tTroubleshoot and resolve client issues escalated by the 1st\u00a0line team
\n\tTroubleshooting and configuration of MPLS VPN\u2019s APN\u2019s and SDWAN Networks
\n\tTroubleshoot and configuration of firewalls
\n\tTroubleshooting and configuring of QOS, OSPF and BGP
\n\tTroubleshoot hosting\/switching environments
\n\tTroubleshoot and configuration of IPSec tunnels
\n\tRouter and switch software upgrades
\n\tStandby Support
\n\tProvide knowledge sharing and support for 1st and 2nd line engineers
\n\tLead and manage escalations and direct MTTR breaches
\n\tManage problem tickets and reoccurring backbone faults<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tA valid CCNA Cisco certification, CCNP preferred
\n\t2 – 5 years relevant experience with MPLS Networks
\n\t2 years SDWAN experience (Preferred)
\n\tKnowledge of ISP Technologies
\n\tKnowledge Security, VoIP or Hosting technology as a secondary skill – L2
\n\tUnderstanding of IP\/GSM\/Telecommunications\/ICT Industry standards and methods – L1<\/p>\n
