Requirements
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tKeep abreast of seasonal trends and find ways to adapt these for our customers.\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate with buyers to put the best range forward.\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate with buyers on product workshops and seasonal themes.
\n\tManage the tech pack process and adhere to trigger dates with technologists.
\n\tLead, mentor and develop a team of graphic designers.
\n\tEnsure critical deadlines are met.\u00a0
\n\tKeep up to date with competitors through store visits.\u00a0
\n\tBuild collaborative relationships with the buying team and feed trend information.\u00a0
\n\tPresenting ideas to the merchandise team in a professional manner.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies<\/p>\n
\tFashion Design Diploma or relevant degree.
\n\t5 years of design experience within a large retail space.
\n\tMenswear experience is advantageous..\u00a0
\n\tExperience in discount \/ value retail.
\n\tProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
\n\tKnowledge of fabric, garment construction, and designing into price points.<\/p>\n
