\n\tAs our\u00a0Senior O&M Technician, you will be responsible for driving reliable operation, maintenance, and performance optimisation of Release’s operational power plant portfolio across multiple sites and geographies.\u00a0
\n\tThe role takes ownership of the day-to-day operational performance of assigned plants, working closely with site-based and client O&M teams to ensure that all inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and fault resolution activities are executed in line with safety, technical, and contractual requirements.\u00a0
\n\tThe position requires flexibility to support operational demands, including standby duty and work outside normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required. The role also requires the ability to travel globally, often on short notice.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tOversee day-to-day operational performance across multiple plant sites, ensuring compliance with safety, technical, and contractual requirements.
\n\tCoordinate and drive preventive and corrective maintenance planning, execution, audits, and CMMS compliance.
\n\tMonitor plant performance, alarms, and operational KPIs to ensure optimal availability and performance targets are achieved.
\n\tLead fault identification, root cause analysis, and resolution activities in collaboration with site teams and the GOC.
\n\tAct as the key operational interface between Release, the GOC, and site\/client O&M teams to ensure effective communication and issue escalation.
\n\tProvide technical support, guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance and operational practices.
\n\tSupport training, upskilling, and capability development of site and client O&M teams to maintain operational excellence.
\n\tEnsure accurate operational reporting, incident coordination, safety compliance, and timely communication of plant performance and key issues to management.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and competencies\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational diploma or bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical\/mechanical\/renewable energy engineering or technical qualifica-tion with substantial working experience in the industry.
\n\t8+ years\u2019 experience working at a solar PV plant. Battery Energy Storage systems experience also advantageous
\n\t8+ years\u2019 experience in operations and maintenance of PV plants
\n\tStrong understanding of procurement processes, as well as PV and BESS operations and performance metrics.
\n\tProficiency in plant monitoring, data acquisition, analysis, and reporting, with advanced MS Office skills and solid working knowledge of PDF tools.<\/p>\n
