{"id":36313,"date":"2026-05-21T16:02:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T16:02:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/sales-executive-external-port-elizabeth-telesales-midrand\/"},"modified":"2026-05-21T16:03:42","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T16:03:42","slug":"sales-executive-external-port-elizabeth-telesales-midrand","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/sales-executive-external-port-elizabeth-telesales-midrand\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales Executive: External (Port Elizabeth) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Telesales (Midrand)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Purpose:<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling products and services (channel sales).<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Sales and Business Development<\/p>\n<p>\tAchieve 100% of Gross Profit Target by the end of each month (Epicor).<br \/>\n\tMaintain and develop relationships with existing customers via customer visits and meetings, telephone calls, emails, and other communication tools.<br \/>\n\tSeek out new revenue generating opportunities to ensure that company targets are met.<br \/>\n\tIdentify client markets and design a sales strategy to fit each client&#8217;s requirements.<br \/>\n\tAdvise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions as well as encouraging dealers to attend product events.<br \/>\n\tObtain 3 new customers in each quarter of the FY (Epicor).<br \/>\n\tIdentify new business opportunities and network on a constant basis to grow client\/customer base.<\/p>\n<p>Customer Service<\/p>\n<p>\tInteract (Visit\/Telephonically) with 80% of allocated customer database quarterly (Report).<br \/>\n\tEnsure that no more than 2 complaints are lodged monthly (telephonic or written).<br \/>\n\tMeet the adequate level of contact with existing customers as may be necessary to maintain\/increase levels of business activity.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the customers\/client care policies are adhered to always.<br \/>\n\tEnsure professional customer\/client interaction always.<br \/>\n\tProvide technical specifications and accurate quotations in the shortest possible time to ensure efficiency and customer retention.<br \/>\n\tFollow-up with work in progress to ensure customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>Procedures<\/p>\n<p>\tAttend and complete Product\/service-related training as and when necessary (attendance register\/certificates\/results).<br \/>\n\tProvide product\/service knowledge internally where required.<br \/>\n\tAlways follow Company sales procedures (ISO).<br \/>\n\tSubmit fortnightly Sales Reports outlining Sales Activity and pipeline.<br \/>\n\tRespond to messages received through e-mail, telephone, or other communication tools.<br \/>\n\tTake steps to ensure calls or messages are being responded to when not available.<br \/>\n\tMaintain reliable, up-to-date customer records.<br \/>\n\tReport to the Operations Manager on any relevant information that will assist in understanding trends or opportunities within the region.<br \/>\n\tEscalate problems to the Operations Manager promptly when special intervention is required.<br \/>\n\tManage demo orders according to the stipulated time frame as set out on the demo forms.<br \/>\n\tAssist Finance with any queries relating to outstanding amounts as required.<\/p>\n<p>Qualification and Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric.<br \/>\n\tTertiary qualification in sales and\/or marketing would be advantageous.<br \/>\n\tDriver\u2019s license required.<br \/>\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in sales; target driven environment at similar level.<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Knowledge:<\/p>\n<p>\tKnowledge of ICT industry<br \/>\n\tSales and marketing principles<br \/>\n\tGood understanding of entrepreneurial and commercial objectives<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of sales strategies and concepts<br \/>\n\tGood understanding of developing sales reports<br \/>\n\tGood decision-making skills<br \/>\n\tExcellent people skills<br \/>\n\tGood verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\n\tGood analytical skills<br \/>\n\tGood planning and organisational skills<br \/>\n\tGood research skills<br \/>\n\tNetworking skills<br \/>\n\tTime management<\/p>\n<p>Closing Date\u00a010 July 2026<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.mustek.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Mustek Limited","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.mustek.co.za","_company_tagline":"Mustek Limited is one of the largest assembler and distributors of personal computers and complementary ICT products in South Africa.
