\nKey Performance Output<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Manager Commercial Facilities Management and will be responsible but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop Project Charters describing the high-level business problem to be addressed, the project requirements, purpose of the project, the way the project will be structured as well as key success factors for implementation.
\n\tConduct an assessment on project pre-feasibility, strategic value and importance and related risk analysis as an input into project prioritization.
\n\tDevelop detailed project requirements and prepare business cases which accurately outlines and addresses expected benefits, costs, payback period and cash flow considerations.
\n\tManage the development of a solution design and the appropriate level of engineering design where required.
\n\tManage the transitional elements from Project development to hand over to the Operator or User upon completion.
\n\tOverall responsibility for management of governance and risk relating to the projects and programmes.
\n\tEnsure all issues and risks are logged, highlighted and escalated when appropriate.
\n\tCultivate and maintain good working relationships with relevant stakeholders, consultants and contractors.
\n\tEnsure timely reporting and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.
\n\tResponsible for functional performance, within the agreed strategic framework and approved plans.
\n\tForecast learning requirements and pipelines related to legislative and industry changes.
\n\tProvide input to CAPEX\/OPEX budget.
\n\tTrack and monitor expenditure.
\n\tCompilation of tender documentation, specifications, quantities and evaluation criteria.
\n\tAnticipate change and align reporting and information requirements.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree (4 years – 480 credits) in Built Environment disciplines (NQF 8) is essential.\u00a0
\n\tHigher Certificate (NQF 5) in Project Management is essential.
\n\tRegistrations: South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) or Project Management South Africa (PMSA) or other Built environment council is essential.
\n\t8 years operational experience in Project Management, procurement exposure, including coordination and implementation of multidisciplinary facilities management related projects, which should include a strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and structural refurbishment, as well as familiarity with OHS Act, SANS, ISO standards and airport-specific safety protocols is essential.
\n\t2 years people and stakeholder management is essential.<\/p>\n
