\tDevelop, analyses and maintain the reliability program as per the applicable regulatory framework, MSG2 or MSG3 methodology as applicable and best industry practices to determine disposition of all reliability issues. Review reliability reports, evaluate maintenance discrepancies for applicability, effectiveness, improvement and optimization of the maintenance programs in ensuring efficient and economical business processes within SAAT.<\/p>\n
Principal Accountabilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Generate reliability documentation in accordance with SAAT procedures to develop and maintain type design data for multiple aircraft.<\/p>\n
\tConduct research and data collection to aid for development of reliability data.
\n\tIdentify, investigate, motivate, and initiate the aircraft reliability framework, its technical policies and practices in order to ensure compliance to the regulatory framework.
\n\tConduct Aircraft and Systems operational performance surveys and generate reliability and failure reports for customers and OEM\u2019s with detailed reliability and failure modes.
\n\tMonitor performance levels of aircraft, engines and related equipment and initiate instructions related to continuous improvement
\n\tProduce, present and maintain reliability and technical reports on projects, defects, incidents\/accidents and statistical data to ensure data integrity and effectiveness of existing procedures.<\/p>\n
Creates a communicative channel between maintenance and support areas on maintenance requirements to the Reliability committee and progress monitoring.<\/p>\n
\tAct as a point of contact & source of expertise for others in the organization and\/or externally, in providing detailed professional advice.
\n\tDevelop and introduce new or improved systems\/methods to improve the section\u2019s operations and efficiency. This includes review of industry developments and adoption of best practices.
\n\tAssist with resolutions of in-service problems in order to maintain\/improve aircraft, engines and systems reliability
\n\tLiaise and communicate with Analyst on reliability matters regarding aircraft, engines and components<\/p>\n
Conduct reliability and analyze maintenance programs or schedules to:<\/p>\n
\tImprove dispatch reliability and enhance cost efficiency
\n\tAttend aircraft systems and component courses, study industry literature, aircraft\/component\/equipment manufacturer specifications and documentation, and participate in local and international meetings, forums and symposiums
\n\tEvaluate historical data that may assist Analyst to motivate, program or task escalations\/de-escalations in comparison to industry trends
\n\tAnalyze re-occurring defect trends, make recommendations and provide reports
\n\tSupport all CAMO activities as required<\/p>\n
Check and validate instructions of continued airworthiness, such as task cards, engineering orders, and related maintenance data to ensure continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
\tPerform in-depth independent engineering analysis and judgement for the effectiveness of maintenance programs, sampling programs and unscheduled maintenance.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric or equivalent – Essential\u00a0
\n\tMust be a qualified aviation technician with 8 years post apprenticeship experience in Aircraft Maintenance and an N6 or National Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline – Essential<\/p>\n
OR<\/p>\n
\tMust be a qualified Type 2 certified mechanical or avionics technician with 4 years\u2019 in certified experience in Aircraft Maintenance – Essential
\n\tProject Management – Advantageous<\/p>\n

\n\tComprehensive knowledge of MS Office package – Intermediate
