Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of this role is to provide multi-function service in support with the Church\u2019s mission to help all of God’s children come to Jesus Christ through learning about His gospel, making and keeping promises with God, and practicing Christlike love and service. This position will be based in South Africa East London Mission.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tCoordinates directly with the mission president to ensure missionary facility needs are being met.
\n\tNegotiate apartment leases and renewals.\u00a0
\n\tFields requests, assigns work to vendors as needed, and ensures work meets established specifications.\u00a0
\n\tPerforms bi\u2011annual formal maintenance inspections of missionary apartments.\u00a0
\n\tManages any mission drivers or home attendants in the mission.\u00a0
\n\tScopes building renovation projects, as needed.\u00a0
\n\tAnticipates upcoming mission needs.\u00a0
\n\tLeads moderately complex projects.\u00a0
\n\tMay complete similar work of direct reports.\u00a0
\n\tAny other duties as assigned by supervisor<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMust hold a current \/ valid temple recommend and\/or be worthy to hold one.
\n\tA recognized Bachelors degree or National Diploma and directly related experience, and applicable industry-recognized certifications.
\n\tAt least five years of any combination of equivalent years of related experience, higher-education, or an industry-recognized certification.
\n\tFormer leadership experience in a work setting.<\/p>\n
