Job description
\nAnalyse current systems solutions and business requirements<\/p>\n
\tInterpret and provide input to translate complex business requirements into business requirement definitions and specifications
\n\tAnalyse and evaluate required system enhancements
\n\tAnalyse existing systems and interfaces for modification \/ improvement purposes<\/p>\n
Design for enhancements to systems to accommodate business needs<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in the process design or re-design and translate business \/ user requirements \/ processes into a system design
\n\tDesign system enhancements
\n\tChange systems specifications based on testing problems \/ changing requirements
\n\tDesign interfaces and solutions with other systems
\n\tComplete peer review of team change requests\u2019 submissions
\n\tProvide input to deployment plans based on designs<\/p>\n
Testing of proposed solutions<\/p>\n
\tDevelop system test plans for system, regression and integration testing
\n\tPerform systems testing and integration testing, and feedback results
\n\tAssist business stakeholders with functional and integration testing of solutions and changes<\/p>\n
Participate in the implementation of new solutions to ensure successful integration into current environment<\/p>\n
\tManage the creation and handover of the system administration procedures
\n\tParticipate in the post-implementation reviews for completed projects
\n\tEnsure SME input during the implementation process<\/p>\n
Support current solutions<\/p>\n
\tAttend to user queries, incidents and requests as per ways of working
\n\tEnsure the stability of the existing systems environment in line with agreed SLA\u2019s
\n\tProvide input and guidance for the Trade Payables process and the impact thereof
\n\tSupport of the Supply Chain Operations into African countries across multiple currencies
\n\tProvide input and guidance for development and technical support teams
\n\tProvide functional leadership and guidance
\n\tComplete peak checks during peak periods<\/p>\n
Collaborate with\/and support ITS Support and the Business<\/p>\n
\tIntegrate with relevant business and IT stakeholders
\n\tProvide system input to design of user training material
\n\tProvide operational support to the business area
\n\tProvide knowledge transfer and support to team members
\n\tCollaborate with 3rd party service providers for operational, technical and functional support<\/p>\n
Create and maintain documentation<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain all relevant SDLC documentation
\n\tDocument, publish and maintain system design (new system developments and enhancements) and all interfaces with other systems
\n\tUpdate standby and support manuals<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 IT qualification
\n\tMinimum 5 years relevant IT experience
\n\tFinancial experience in Supply Chain Management
\n\tWill be required to perform standby duties on rotational basis<\/p>\n
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA<\/p>\n
\tRetail experience advantageous
\n\tStrong XML and relational database knowledge
\n\tStrong SQL Query, knowledge and experience
\n\tKnowledge on Cloud technologies and principles
\n\tStrong working knowledge of various system integration formats
\n\tExperience working on projects or large continuous improvement initiatives independently
\n\tProject management and testing methodology knowledge
\n\tSupply chain knowledge\/understanding advantageous
\n\tTakes ownership, accountability and is self-motivated
\n\tAttention to detail is required<\/p>\n
