\tWe are recruiting for a Assistant Store Manager to maintain the storage and safekeeping of goods in our units. The Store Manager will receive goods from suppliers, and ensure goods are stored correctly and appropriately, track the movement of goods and will be be responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tGood knowledge of the catering environment
\n\tGood knowledge of Health and Safety policies and processes relevant to the catering industry
\n\tStrong judgement and problem solving skills
\n\tExcellent people skills
\n\tStrong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written)
\n\tFlexibility with regards to working hours
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tClient service orientated
\n\tBusiness management principles
\n\tFully computer literate
\n\tAble to handle with multifaceted issues for problem solving
\n\tAble to operate with little Supervision
\n\tFlexible in terms of working hours (shifts & weekends)<\/p>\n
Qualifications \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate (Matric)
\n\t2-3 years\u2019 experience in a similar position
\n\tMinimum of 3 years as a Storeman in catering environment
\n\tComputer literacy Advanced MS Excel and MS Word
\n\tProven costing & stock control\/store keeping experience is essential.
\n\tFinancial acumen
\n\tExcellent people and customer service skills
\n\tMust have Clear Criminal Record<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tManage & keep accurate records of all inwards goods
\n\tOrder materials\/consumables as required for production.
\n\tPerform stock checks and report on stock levels
\n\tEnsure materials and equipment are ready for upcoming projects
\n\tUnpacking deliveries\/checking deliveries
\n\tKeep store clean and tidy
\n\tDevelop a relationship with suppliers and source best price
\n\tDevelop tools budget and manage\/reduce repair spend\/cost<\/p>\n
