Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Lecturing<\/p>\n
\tLecture on programmes (must lecture on an IIE qualification) across various modes of delivery where relevant
\n\tMarking of assessments and feedback to students in subjects lectured. May be required to internally moderate assessments scripts that fall within their subject fields, where necessary across IIE sites of delivery<\/p>\n
Lecturer Development and Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist in lecturer development and support processes and procedures. This may include conducting peer reviews, facilitating workshops and one-on-one consultations<\/p>\n
Student Development & Support<\/p>\n
\tChampioning\/leading and managing academic development and support for a specific programme and its students
\n\tTracking student success and implementing support interventions where required<\/p>\n
Research & Scholarship<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent is required to promote a culture of scholarship within their practice, discipline and campus\/team and is also required to contribute towards The IIE\u2019s Emeris achieving its annual research output targets<\/p>\n
Competencies Required:<\/p>\n
\tSuperior communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills
\n\tDemonstrated ability to manage work and self proactively
\n\tAble to demonstrate a proven track record of effective teaching in subject area based on a reflective practice
\n\tAble to demonstrate the ability to manage relationships with managers and staff effectively in terms of motivation, quality and performance
\n\tPassion for Customer Service
\n\tExperience in the use of technology to enhance learning is an added advantage<\/p>\n
Minimum Education Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA Masters Degree specialising in a relevant Psychology field
\n\tRegistered with the HPCSA<\/p>\n
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years industry and\/or academia<\/p>\n
