Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Pension Fund Senior\u2019s role is to execute risk-based audits in accordance with the firm\u2019s audit methodology. The candidate would be reporting to an Audit Manager and would be responsible for conducting an audit from planning through to completion. \u00a0The Pension Fund Senior would be responsible for the audit team and will help supervise, motivate and develop the team of junior audit staff. \u00a0This role is required to review the work of junior personnel, as well as developing their skills and providing training and support.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
A Pension Fund Senior will be expected to carry out any or all of the following tasks:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify risk matters to the business
\n\tSchedule, plan and complete risk-based audits
\n\tReport and present findings to the business, making recommendations for solutions and improvements to policies\/procedures
\n\tUnderstand the commercial objectives of the business and the impact made by the audit
\n\tLiaise with client
\n\tEnsure the business complies with all relevant internal requirements, industry regulations and government legislation
\n\tLead, manage and develop the team of junior auditors
\n\tAssist with other audit matters and projects
\n\tAudit execution<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tB.Com Accounting Degree or equivalent
\n\tPrevious experience on pension fund audits
\n\tAbility to work in a team and independently
\n\tGood communication skills, internal and external, both written and verbal
\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n
