Role Overview<\/p>\n
\tAs an Intermediate Analytics Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize analytics data models and pipelines. You\u2019ll be responsible for developing robust, scalable solutions that enable high-quality business intelligence and analytics.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDesign and implement relational, multi-dimensional, and domain-specific semantic models. Apply data normalization principles.
\n\tDevelop and optimize analytics pipelines using dbt, SQLMesh, and similar tools.
\n\tImplement and monitor data quality frameworks (dbt tests, SodaCL) to ensure reliable datasets.
\n\tIntegrate and transform data from diverse sources for analytics consumption.
\n\tWrite efficient SQL and Python code for data transformation and analysis.
\n\tDevelop dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel.
\n\tWork with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
\n\tMaintain comprehensive documentation of data models, pipelines, and processes.
\n\tUse Git and Azure DevOps\/GitHub for version control, pull requests, and CI\/CD pipeline management.
\n\tApply knowledge of open table formats (Delta, Hudi, Iceberg), open lakehouse concepts, open catalogs (Unity Catalog), and data sharing protocols (Redshift Share, Delta Sharing).
\n\tUnderstand and contribute to data mesh concepts and goals.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
\n\tProven experience in analytics engineering or data analytics.
\n\tStrong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling.
\n\tExperience with dbt, SQLMesh, and data quality frameworks.
\n\tFamiliarity with BI tools (Power BI, Excel).
\n\tExperience with version control (Git) and CI\/CD pipelines.
\n\tUnderstanding of open table formats, lakehouse concepts, and data mesh principles.
\n\tStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/p>\n
Preferred Skills<\/p>\n
\tCertification in analytics engineering or cloud technologies.
\n\tExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
\n\tKnowledge of software engineering best practices.
\n\tFamiliarity with open catalogs and data sharing protocols.<\/p>\n
