Manage and embed strategic alignment in response to growth and development on TCTA<\/p>\n
\tEmbed strategic alignment of the Finance Team Ensure that Finance processes are integrated into the organisation
\n\tContinually assess team capacity against changing business needs.
\n\tCreate and maintain relevant infrastructures, policies, processes, and systems within Finance, as new projects are mandated to TCTA.<\/p>\n
Year End<\/p>\n
\tPlay an oversight role over the entire year-end process.
\n\tReview the draft annual financial statements and ensure that they are prepared in accordance with the accounting standards.
\n\tPresent the Annual Financial Statements to EXCO, Board Committees, and Board for approval
\n\tEnsure that Annual financial statements are complete and accurate and free from errors resulting in an unqualified audit opinion.
\n\tLiaison and coordination with internal and external auditors.
\n\tDiscussion of and resolving of audit queries and adjustments.<\/p>\n
Annual Budget Cycle<\/p>\n
\tOversight role over the entire budget process.
\n\tQuality control over the integrity of numbers and variance explanations.
\n\tPresent actual versus budget, actual\/forecast, and new year budget to EXCO, Board Committees and Board for approval.<\/p>\n
Financial Reporting<\/p>\n
\tComplete and accurate financial information presented to the CFO, EXCO, and various related committees.
\n\tResolve any financial reporting problems that arise effectively and efficiently.
\n\tEnsure overall compliance with tax legislation. Implement and maintain financial models for TCTA.
\n\tEnsure all financial reporting as per funding agreements with lenders is met.
\n\tContribute to the preparation of the Annual Report.<\/p>\n
People Management and Development<\/p>\n
\tBe accountable for the strategic alignment of the team
\n\tTranslate strategic alignment into understandable actions
\n\tCreate development opportunities to keep the team up to date, challenged, and enthusiastic
\n\tResponsible for overall team well-being<\/p>\n
Strategic Liaison and Assurance<\/p>\n
\tQuality and timeous liaison with TCTA\u2019s stakeholders, external parties, as well as with internal divisions.
\n\tPrepare lessons learned on completed projects.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tCA (SA)
\n\t10 years of financial management and reporting experience in the financial services sector, with a preference for treasury exposure.
\n\tMinimum 5 years of senior management experience, with proven experience managing a team
\n\tStrong technical and working experience in IFRS \/ GRAP<\/p>\n
