\tPhD\/Doctorate in Chiropractic or any Health-Related Discipline and a minimum of 10 years\u2019 teaching experience
\n\tSustained research track record of publications in accredited journals.
\n\tTrack record of supervision of postgraduates and leadership of research group\/s.
\n\tSustained track record of external funding.
\n\tEvidence of collaborative linkages.
\n\tEvidence of external engagement.
\n\tGood communication and lecturing skills.
\n\tA strong passion for teaching and research.
\n\tProfessional registration with AHPCSA<\/p>\n
Summary of Duties<\/p>\n
\tTeach subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels
\n\tSupervision of postgraduate projects and postgraduate students.
\n\tDevelopment of learning material for different courses.
\n\tActively involved in research and research activities.
\n\tActive participation in Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and industrial projects.
\n\tKnowledge of online learning software, e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Teams.
\n\tParticipation in community engagement projects.
\n\tAssist with administrative duties as delegated.
\n\tAny other duties as prescribed by the Head of Department.<\/p>\n
Associate Professor<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n

\n\tEvidence of a publication track record in peer-reviewed journals.
\n\tEvidence of completed postgraduate supervision.

\tDealing with student queries and complaints regarding the Department\/Programme.<\/p>\n
Managing and supervising staff which includes: –<\/p>\n
\tThe allocation of work
\n\tLeave management.
\n\tEnhancing staff relations and building a team towards a student centred department.
\n\tAttending to matters such as study leave, grievances, disputes, training & development.
\n\tAppointment of part-time and replacement
\n\tProgramme and project
\n\tEnhancing Faculty projects g. Post graduate Recruitment and supervision, Siyaphumelela, FYSE, Orientation and Graduation.
\n\tTo provide leadership to the department with respect of teaching & learning and research.<\/p>\n
