Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing key HR functions within the business, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, compliance, onboarding, and policy implementation. The role ensures efficient HR operations while promoting a positive and compliant workplace culture.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Recruitment & Onboarding<\/p>\n
\tManage end-to-end recruitment processes.
\n\tDraft and post job advertisements.
\n\tScreen CVs and coordinate interviews.
\n\tConduct reference and background checks.
\n\tFacilitate onboarding and induction processes for new employees.<\/p>\n
HR Administration<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
\n\tPrepare employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation.
\n\tMonitor probation periods and contract renewals.
\n\tAssist with payroll input and leave administration.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations<\/p>\n
\tProvide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
\n\tAssist with disciplinary, grievance, and incapacity processes.
\n\tSupport managers with employee performance matters.
\n\tPromote employee engagement and workplace wellbeing.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate performance review processes.
\n\tTrack KPIs and development plans.
\n\tAssist with training and development initiatives.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Policies<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
\n\tMaintain confidentiality of employee information.
\n\tSupport HR audits and reporting requirements.
\n\tAssist with implementation and updating of HR policies.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPrepare monthly HR reports and statistics.
\n\tMonitor staff turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment metrics.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 HR generalist experience.
\n\tStrong knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
\n\tExperience with disciplinary procedures and employee relations.
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tStrong organisational and administrative abilities.<\/p>\n
Advantageous<\/p>\n
\tExperience within the iGaming or fast-paced corporate environment.
\n\tHRIS or payroll system experience.
\n\tKnowledge of BCEA, LRA, and EE legislation.<\/p>\n
