Job Description<\/p>\n
\tA leading automotive manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join their Paintshop division in East London.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tConduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis on production blends and materials
\n\tPerform laboratory testing, method development, validation, and reporting
\n\tSupport quality control processes and ensure compliance with MBAG standards
\n\tOperate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and analytical instruments
\n\tSupport continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical expertise to production and suppliers
\n\tParticipate in ISIR material evaluations and hazardous chemical assessments<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBSc Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related scientific field (NQF 7)
\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 analytical laboratory experience in manufacturing, automotive, paint, or chemical environments
\n\tStrong knowledge of analytical instruments, laboratory methods, and quality systems
\n\tExperience with QMS, ISIR, and automotive paint\/coating standards advantageous
\n\tStrong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
\n\tAdvanced MS Office proficiency
\n\tWillingness to work weekends when required for production support<\/p>\n
