We are seeking an experienced and proactive Catering Manager to oversee the daily operations of our catering services. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality food delivery, excellent customer service, and smooth operational management. The successful candidate will lead a team, maintain compliance standards, and drive continuous improvement across the service.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nOperational Management<\/p>\n
\tOversee the day-to-day running of the catering operation, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
\n\tManage food production, menu planning, stock control, and ordering.
\n\tEnsure all equipment, facilities, and processes meet operational and hygiene standards.
\n\tTeam Leadership Lead, motivate, and develop catering staff to deliver exceptional service.
\n\tManage rotas, training, performance reviews, and recruitment as required.
\n\tPromote a positive and collaborative working environment.<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tBuild strong relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders.
\n\tResolve customer queries and feedback promptly and professionally.
\n\tEnsure service levels consistently meet or exceed expectations.<\/p>\n
Financial Responsibility<\/p>\n
\tMonitor budgets, costs, and financial performance.
\n\tImplement cost-effective practices while maintaining quality.
\n\tSupport in pricing, forecasting, and financial reporting.
\n\tCompliance & Safety Ensure adherence to health & safety, food hygiene, and allergen regulations.
\n\tMaintain accurate records and complete audits as required.
\n\tImplement robust processes for food safety and risk management.<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProven experience in catering or hospitality management.
\n\tStrong leadership and team management skills.
\n\tExcellent knowledge of food hygiene, safety regulations, and compliance.
\n\tAbility to manage budgets, costs, and resources effectively.
\n\tExceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCompleted National Senior Certificate
\n\tRelevant catering or hospitality qualifications
\n\tKnowledge of menu planning and special dietary requirements.
\n\tOwn motor vehicle<\/p>\n
