Job Description<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Pedros requires a strong, hands-on and commercially minded Maintenance Manager to lead and manage the full maintenance division across the business. The role is responsible for ensuring that all Pedros restaurants, Distribution Centres, equipment, buildings, utilities, refrigeration systems, electrical systems, generators, HVAC, security systems and general infrastructure are maintained to the highest operational, safety and brand standards.
\n\tThe Maintenance Manager will build and manage a reliable maintenance structure that supports rapid operational growth, minimises downtime, protects assets, controls costs and ensures that all outlets and distribution facilities are fully functional, compliant and customer-ready at all times.
\n\tThis is a critical leadership role requiring technical expertise, strong contractor management, preventative maintenance discipline, project management capability and the ability to operate in a fast-paced QSR environment.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tLead the full maintenance division across Pedros restaurants, Distribution Centres and support facilities
\n\tManage internal teams, technicians, coordinators and external service providers
\n\tDesign and run the preventative maintenance programme and asset register
\n\tOperate a disciplined job card and maintenance tracking system
\n\tSource, approve and manage technical suppliers and contractors with SLAs
\n\tOversee technical equipment including refrigeration, generators, HVAC, kitchen and DC infrastructure
\n\tProvide maintenance support to new store openings, revamps and relocations
\n\tManage maintenance budgets, capex and opex spend and report on variances
\n\tEnsure health, safety, food safety and statutory compliance across all maintenance work
\n\tConduct structured maintenance audits across restaurants and DCs
\n\tBuild technical capability across operational and DC teams<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tNational Diploma or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management or related technical field
\n\tTrade qualification advantageous
\n\tProject Management qualification advantageous
\n\tHealth and Safety training advantageous<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years in a maintenance management role
\n\tMulti-site maintenance management experience
\n\tQSR, food retail, hospitality, FMCG, distribution or multi-site retail experience
\n\tProven experience managing preventative maintenance programmes and maintenance budgets
\n\tStrong supplier and contractor management experience
\n\tExperience leading technicians, maintenance coordinators or outsourced technical teams<\/p>\n
