Network Security"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Role Purpose\/Business Unit:<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Business Manager role reports directly to the Chief Officer Legal, Risk &amp; Compliance Officer and provides, inter alia,\u00a0 day-to-day legal support (including opinions \/legislative interpretation\/ drafting) ,operational management and coordination across Legal, Risk, Compliance and Privacy (LRC) as well\u00a0 to enable the Chief Officer to perform her functions efficiently\/effectively &#8211; strengthen governance, reporting discipline and delivery of key commitments.<br \/>\n\tThe candidate will have access to all matters in which the Chief Officer is involved in (including access to the mailbox) &amp; will be part of LRC EXCO meetings, amongst other high-profile meetings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<p>\tIncrease the available time and agility of the Chief Officer by owning the LRC operational cadence (first drafts of legal documents, emails, reports, guiding the teams, planning, governance, actions and follow-ups).<br \/>\n\tTo act as liaison between the Chief Officer and other stakeholders both internal and external including the LRC EXCO members.<br \/>\n\tTo be responsible for all the reporting needs within LRC to integrate into Exco and board reports as the first point of contact for all by Vodafone, External Auditors , Group Exco on reporting as well as all Workshop \/ Group engagements &amp; Speaking requirements including presentations (responsible for drafting presentation) and liaison between Vodafone UK and LRC EXCO.<br \/>\n\tTo assist the Chief Officer with various functions ranging from proactive LRC analysis to business deliverables, especially strategic decisions.<br \/>\n\tProject management across LRC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Key accountabilities and decision ownership:<\/p>\n<p>Support the Chief Officer\u2019s Office<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure timeous and within budget LRC deliverables.<br \/>\n\tPromote a service mentality and develop strong relationships with Group EXCO, VF Group and OpCo teams.<br \/>\n\tSupport alignment of activities and objectives across LRC requirements.<br \/>\n\tDeliver actionable measurement for all impacting projects and initiatives.<br \/>\n\tLead world class measurement and improvement model for the analytical and operational teams across LRC.<br \/>\n\tManage creation of consistent and integrated improvement.<br \/>\n\tResolve problems and mediate disputes before they are escalated to the Chief Officer where possible.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the dissemination and receipt of key information by working closely with the Chief Officer and leadership team.<br \/>\n\tRepresent the Chief Officer in meetings and action decisions \/ deliverables as mandated from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>Financial review and analysis<\/p>\n<p>\tWork closely with the Finance Business Partner to analyse and interpret financial information to ensure that operates within budget requirements.<br \/>\n\tPrepare executive summaries and updates on expenditure\/cost against deliverables.<br \/>\n\tProactively engage with LRC leadership on operational and reporting items as required from time to time.<br \/>\n\tMonitor the implementation of cost saving initiatives.<br \/>\n\tManage the Legal Provisioning Process for sign off by the Chief Officer and CEO.=<\/p>\n<p>Reporting and Governance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure a sound reporting framework is in place which is aligned to the Vodacom \/ Vodafone standards.<br \/>\n\tWork with key stakeholders to design and develop an automated dashboard that displays the Chief Officer KPI\u2019s and is fit for purpose.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that good governance principles are adhered to within the Chief Officer\u2019s office.<br \/>\n\tCo-ordinate and drive monthly reports (Board \/ EXCO etc) and reviews as required by the Chief Officer with a focus on critically filtering and prioritising key pieces of information.<br \/>\n\tPrepare the necessary documentations and presentations as required for internal and external audiences by prioritising and validating information that facilitates sound decision making.<br \/>\n\tProvide analysis and reporting for Exco and Board of Directors.<br \/>\n\tEnsure business decisions are implemented and executed within the approved and accepted governance framework.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate for this role will have:<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum 3 year relevant degree &#8211; must be a qualified lawyer.<br \/>\n\tPost qualification experience minimum 2 years.<\/p>\n<p>Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tManaging functional responsibilities at a senior manager level within a corporate environment.<br \/>\n\tProject management.<br \/>\n\tManaging \/ building relationships at Executive level.<br \/>\n\tMinimum of 2 years Leadership\/Management experience (an advantage).<br \/>\n\tProviding financial analysis at Executive Management level.<br \/>\n\tManage and give inputs on behalf of Chief Officer.<br \/>\n\tLegal, Risk &amp;
