Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tLead the overall operations pertaining to the Quality Control Laboratory in relation to staff, quality and operations. Provides high quality service and technical expertise to internal and external customers, and performs the functions associated with the Quality Control Laboratory (excluding Microbiology and Compliance team)<\/p>\n

QC Laboratory\u00a0Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure and increase the efficiency in the QC laboratory.\u00a0<\/p>\n
QC Systems\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEnsures\u00a0that the QC laboratory\u00a0maintains\u00a0GMP\u00a0Compliance, safety\u00a0standards\u00a0and good\u00a0housekeeping\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tContinuous improvement of processes \/ validation.\u00a0
\n\tAccurate assessment of data and decisions taken by QC analysts\u00a0and microbiologist.\u00a0
\n\tResponsible for the final release of all QC test results.\u00a0
\n\tResponsible for\u00a0appropriate action\u00a0on all QC data through the development and implementation of systems to improve processes and tests.\u00a0
\n\tAccurate assessment of laboratory requirements such as equipment\u00a0and\u00a0consumables.\u00a0
\n\tReview anomalies and propose corrective actions.\u00a0
\n\tCommunicates effectively with other staff, departments & external clients to ensure timeous resolution of queries.\u00a0
\n\tManage the laboratory maintenance, validation\u00a0& calibration\u00a0programme\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tMonitoring routine\u00a0sampling and\u00a0analysis of samples.\u00a0
\n\tReview and\u00a0Check\u00a0the logbooks\/Preparation of laboratory solution.\u00a0
\n\tReview and approval\u00a0of analytical reports of chemical testing\u00a0for batch release\u00a0
\n\tPreparation\/Review of specifications or monographs.\u00a0
\n\tReview of trend reports for\u00a0APQR\u00a0
\n\tPreparation of\u00a0certificate of\u00a0analysis for post importation products and providing certificates to\u00a0customer.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tTo ensure compliance to current guidelines.\u00a0
\n\tOngoing development, evaluation & implementation of quality control testing programmes in conjunction with\u00a0Regulatory,\u00a0QA,\u00a0production\u00a0and\u00a0Customers\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that\u00a0appropriate action\u00a0is taken and prevented\u00a0in the event of\u00a0non-compliance\u00a0(OOS\/OOT\/Analytical Incidents)\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that major deficiencies, errors, deviation from SOP\u2019s, compliance with QC programs and\u00a0GMP\u00a0are in line with\u00a0appropriate measures.\u00a0
\n\tResponsible for successful implementation and maintenance of quality control systems in laboratory including CAPA, vendor approval, validation, document control.\u00a0
\n\tSurvey the environment to keep abreast of latest regulatory requirement so that all documents are in adherence to current\u00a0GxP\u00a0systems\u00a0<\/p>\n
Technical Support\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure the competency and support to the team or external stakeholders.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Educational qualifications:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProvide\u00a0direction\u00a0for continuous improvement and simplification of processes\/documentation.\u00a0
\n\tSupport QC staff and manufacturing to resolve QC related problems.\u00a0
\n\tPerform\u00a0accurate\u00a0statistical analysis and\u00a0evaluation of\u00a0trend analysis on tests & results.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure ongoing research, validation & evaluation of test methods, equipment & processes.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that the analyst qualification is conducted.\u00a0
\n\tProvide environment to team members to develop their potential by involving them in major discussions\/trainings.\u00a0
\n\tOversee\u00a0troubleshooting on QC laboratory processes and delegate corrective actions to QC personnel.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that the technical\/method transfers\u00a0and method\u00a0validation\u00a0
\n\tBSc Chemistry\/Degree\u00a0Analytical Chemistry (or Equivalent)<\/p>\n
Relevant experience:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t6-8 years of experience in QC department of a pharmaceutical organization with knowledge of latest regulatory\u00a0standards and compliance norms<\/p>\n
