\tPurpose is to oversee the work activities of the hygiene team to ensure that the site is handed over to the client according to required hygiene standards. Responsible for training the hygiene team in using all equipment and chemicals in a safe manner. Responsible for site safety and making sure that teams perform tasks timeously.<\/p>\n
Summary of responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage a team to produce a food-safe site, daily.\u00a0
\n\tManage and achieve the Budgeted Man-hours and Purchases in their Section.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain a hygienic and safe working environment with compliance to all statutory safety regulations.\u00a0
\n\tManage individual and team performance; coach and develop staff.\u00a0
\n\tResponsible for all Operational activities in their section, including operational problem solving.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain Customer relationship; meet Customer expectations and eliminate plant damage & downtime.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Job Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12.\u202f\u00a0
\n\tProven experience in deep cleaning within a food environment.
\n\tSolid experience in wet plant cleaning processes and hygiene standards.
\n\tStrong exposure to major food safety audits (FSSC 22000, KFC, McDonald’s or similar).\u00a0
\n\tWorking knowledge and experience using iLeader.
\n\tComputer literate.
\n\tUnderstanding of PRP will be advantageous.
\n\tDemonstrated experience in chemical stock control and safe chemical handling practices.
\n\tBasic exposure to Industrial Relations within an operational environment would be beneficial.
\n\tStrong administrative and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\tAbility to work different shifts.<\/p>\n
