\tMedirite Plus Soshanguve is seeking a customer-focused, hard-working pharmacy sales assistant to ensure the smooth operation of in-store retail operations.
\n\tResponsibilities of the pharmacy sales assistant include greeting customers, monitoring customer activity to prevent shoplifting, arranging visual displays, processing customer refunds, etc. You should also be able to identify customers’ needs and suggest products that will best meet those needs.

Job Objectives\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tHandling payments and balancing sales and receipts according to company procedure.
\n\tBe aware of new products and keep your product knowledge up to date.
\n\tRestocking items and organizing the sales floor according to standard operating procedures.
\n\tRegularly conducting price audits to identify and rectify price discrepancies.
\n\tProcessing customer payments using the stores’ Point of Sale (POS) system.
\n\tMaintaining product knowledge to offer advice and recommendations.
\n\tStay up to date on all promotions and special offers.
\n\tMaintain visual merchandising standards.
\n\tConduct proper housekeeping.
\n\tHandle all customer queries timeously and escalated to higher management when necessary.<\/p>\n

\tGrade 12 qualification<\/p>\n

\tAt least 5 months of point of sale \/ till point experience within a retail environment.
\n\tProven retail sales experience.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tComputer literate.
\n\tBilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English.
\n\tEngaging and friendly personality.
\n\tKnowledgeable of payment procedures (e.g. cash, cheque, bank card, credit cards, coupons, vouchers).
\n\tKnowledgeable of stock-receiving procedures and merchandising standards.
\n\tSolid understanding of customer service principles.
\n\tThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tStrong organizational skills.
\n\tEffective communication skills.
\n\tExceptional customer service skills.
\n\tDetail-oriented.<\/p>\n
