Our client is seeking a professional, well-rounded, and client-focused Accountant to provide accounting, tax, financial reporting, and advisory services while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPrepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
\n\tOversee bookkeeping functions and accounting reviews
\n\tPrepare and submit VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, and statutory returns
\n\tLiaise with clients regarding financial matters, deadlines, and queries
\n\tAssist with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning
\n\tEnsure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
\n\tLiaise with SARS and other regulatory bodies when required<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
\n\tCompleted SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous
\n\t2\u20135 years\u2019 experience in an accounting or audit firm
\n\tStrong knowledge of accounting, tax, and financial reporting principles
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
\n\tExperience with CaseWare, Sage\/Pastel, and SARS eFiling (Preferred)
\n\tStrong communication, organisational, and client service skills
\n\tAbility to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence advantageous
