Purpose of the role:<\/p>\n
\tThis role offers the opportunity to lead a key Weir ESCO operation with full ownership of performance, people, and customer outcomes. As Branch Manager in Middelburg, you will shape strategy, drive growth, and make a visible impact in a business that values accountability and initiative.

What you\u2019ll do:<\/p>\n
\tEffective management of all aspects of the branch to ensure achievement of revenue targets.
\n\tDevelop and implement sales strategy and plan to support the achievement of revenue targets.
\n\tProvide technical and other support to District Managers and Customers.
\n\tEnsure effective use of sales systems in the territory.
\n\tSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.<\/p>\n
What you\u2019ll bring<\/p>\n
Must-haves:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRelevant National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mining Operations, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum of 8 years\u2019 experience in the mining industry, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
\n\tStrong knowledge of the local mining industry is essential, including understanding of customer operations and site requirements.
\n\tDemonstrated technical familiarity with Mining GET, dragline rigging, and chains, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a commercial and operational environment. Strong knowledge of the local coal mining industry.
\n\tProven leadership capability with experience managing operational teams, contractors, and customer interfaces in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
\n\tSound commercial and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and P&L accountability at branch or operational level.<\/p>\n
