A leading Investments Institution is seeking a highly experienced Business Architect to support enterprise transformation, strategic enablement, and operating model optimisation across the organisation.
\n\tThe successful candidate will play a critical role in translating business strategy into actionable programmes, enabling enterprise alignment, and driving strategic initiatives from concept through to implementation.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tTranslate strategic objectives into actionable programmes using business models, capability frameworks, value streams, and process maps.
\n\tDevelop and maintain business architecture frameworks, standards, governance models, and strategic roadmaps.
\n\tDesign and optimise target operating models aligned to enterprise strategy and customer outcomes.
\n\tDrive enterprise alignment using Agile methodologies, design thinking principles, and customer experience (CX) insights.
\n\tFacilitate cross-functional collaboration between business, technology, operations, and executive stakeholders.
\n\tLead strategic initiatives from concept definition through to operating model implementation.
\n\tConduct current-state and future-state analysis to identify business capability gaps, risks, and optimisation opportunities.
\n\tSupport enterprise transformation and digital modernisation initiatives.
\n\tCreate and maintain business architecture artefacts including:
\n\tBusiness capability models
\n\tOperating models
\n\tValue streams
\n\tProcess maps
\n\tStrategic roadmaps
\n\tOrganisational models
\n\tConduct impact assessments relating to organisational, operational, and technology changes.
\n\tProvide strategic recommendations and insights to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Experience & Key Deliverables<\/p>\n
Experience in delivering strategic business architecture initiatives such as:<\/p>\n
\tClient value proposition (CVP) development
\n\tSegment operating model design
\n\tCapability modelling across multiple business functions
\n\tProcess optimisation and customer onboarding enhancements
\n\tLead management and workflow improvement initiatives
\n\tEnterprise-wide transformation and alignment programmes<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant Degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
\n\t8+ years’ experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy, Transformation, or Senior Business Analysis roles.
\n\tProven experience within large enterprise or complex corporate environments.<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of:<\/p>\n
\tBusiness capability modelling
\n\tOperating model design
\n\tEnterprise transformation
\n\tProcess optimisation
\n\tBusiness architecture methodologies
\n\tStrong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
\n\tAbility to work effectively with executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
\n\tExperience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.<\/p>\n
Advantageous<\/p>\n
\tExperience within investments or financial services.
\n\tTOGAF or Business Architecture certifications.
\n\tExperience with architecture and modelling tools.
\n\tKnowledge of BPMN and enterprise modelling techniques.<\/p>\n
