\tCurrently we are looking for a\u00a0Senior Project Finance Manager\u00a0in Cape Town, South Africa\u00a0to be part of our global team working together towards our vision \u2013\u00a0Improving our future.\u00a0
\n\tThe\u00a0Project Finance Manager\u00a0will prepare and manage Financial Evaluation, Financial Analysis, Risk Assessment and Financing of new projects and new opportunities during opportunity during all phases of project development i.e., from Inception to Financial close.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tFinancial modelling – Prepare comprehensive financial models for investment evaluation based on lender and equity perspectives. Take responsibility for portfolio of Financial Models within the portfolio of projects.
\n\tDelivery of cash flow forecasts and analyse project scenarios
\n\tEvaluation of project risk and Analyse project return
\n\tPrepare Project Finance input to presentations during all project phases
\n\tNegotiate relevant financial closing documentation and co-ordinate signing and closing
\n\tInteraction with lenders, insurance advisers, tax advisers and financial advisers
\n\tFinalise lender related requirements for financial closure and ensure timely compliance
\n\tEvaluate new technology financial feasibility
\n\tInvestigate tax legislation, legal aspects, and novel funding opportunities
\n\tObtain project inputs from all stakeholders and ensure appropriate capturing in financial models
\n\tDefine results in project risk\/return
\n\tLiaise with project team members and departments across organisation and geographies
\n\tSupport senior management decision making<\/p>\n
Qualifications and competencies<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar University level education with CA\/CFA\/MBA
\n\t10+ years background in Project Finance, Structured Finance or M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions)
\n\t7+ years\u2019 experience in complex financial modelling using MS Excel
\n\tDemonstrated successful financial closing of several Project Financed deals
\n\tRenewable energy experience
\n\tSolution orientated, dedicated and someone who takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities
\n\tStrong background in Project Finance, Structured Finance and Corporate Finance
\n\tCapability to build up networks with key local stakeholders and lead transaction teams
\n\tIntercultural understanding and the ability to work in an international environment is important
\n\tExcellent MS Excel Financial Modelling skills, AI support<\/p>\n
