\tWell-established national manufacturer seeks to employ a recently qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) to form part of a structured succession plan to prepare him\/her to take full responsibility for the Financial Services function. Based in GOODWOOD.<\/p>\n
For the position you would be required to have:<\/p>\n
\tQualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
\n\tAround 3 years\u2019 post qualification experience
\n\tExperience in a manufacturing environment and stock management will be a definite advantage<\/p>\n
Responsibilities would include you to:<\/p>\n
\tSupport and progressively take ownership of providing an integrated financial accounting and administrative service to the business
\n\tAssist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes
\n\tMonitor and manage working capital, including debtors, creditors and cash flow
\n\tPrepare and analyse monthly financial reports for Divisional Office
\n\tEnsure compliance with statutory, tax and internal reporting requirements
\n\tSupport the development and maintenance of internal controls and financial processes
\n\tReview balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger accounts and journal entries
\n\tSupport capital expenditure planning and cost management initiatives
\n\tWork closely with and develop within the finance team, including exposure to people management
\n\tEngage with auditors and external stakeholders
\n\tParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects
