To continue operating at our high standards, we\u2019re seeking a General Manager in our Dealerships Distribution Channel.<br \/>\n\tAs the General Manager for the Dealerships Distribution Channel, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Area Managers and the Business Development &amp; Key Account Manager, while driving national sales, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth across the channel.<\/p>\n<p>What will make you successful in this role?<\/p>\n<p>\tThe General Manager for the Dealerships Distribution Channel is responsible for leading the channel\u2019s national growth strategy, sales performance, and operational effectiveness. This role provides leadership to Area Managers and the Business Development &amp; Key Account Manager, ensuring strong execution across dealership partnerships, strategic account development, and stakeholder engagement.<br \/>\n\tThe successful candidate will balance commercial delivery with people leadership, building a high-performing team while strengthening MiWay\u2019s presence in the automotive and insurance landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tEstablish and execute a strategy to meet the set targets (e.g., team planning, recruitment, geographical expansion, operational requirements, etc.).<br \/>\n\tMake sure that the Area Managers and broker consultants receive the necessary guidance, support and coaching to achieve their goals<br \/>\n\tEffectively communicate with your team, management, and internal stakeholders<br \/>\n\tKeep up with changes and developments in the automotive industry and with your competitors\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProvide leadership, direction, and performance oversight to the Business Development &amp; Key Account Manager, ensuring alignment with channel strategy, partnership objectives, and revenue targets<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Qualification:<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12\/Standard 10\/NQF 4<br \/>\n\tNQF Level 7 Qualification<\/p>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tManagerial experience with a proven sales track record<br \/>\n\tStrong decision-making abilities<br \/>\n\tCommunicate effectively, collaborate effectively, and delegate effectively<br \/>\n\tAbility to develop and achieve financial goals<br \/>\n\tAbility to motivate and lead a sales team<br \/>\n\tExperience in managing business development, strategic partnerships, or key account management functions<br \/>\n\tWorking knowledge of operational procedures<br \/>\n\tMust be willing to travel extensively to all regions nationally.<br \/>\n\tProven track record of securing high value account partnering within the dealership ecosystem.
