\tTo manage the marketing function of the relevant mall \/ malls. Focus on the development and execution of the marketing strategy with results driven \/ return on investment focused marketing. The role reports directly to centre management.<\/p>\n

Marketing Strategy:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute the malls marketing strategy
\n\tInclude input and support from centre and portfolio management and regional and head of retail marketing
\n\tSecure approval from portfolio and asset management\u00a0<\/p>\n
Campaign Plans and Strategy Execution:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and present campaign plans
\n\tInclude input and support from centre management and regional and head of retail marketing
\n\tInclude measurable KPI\u2019s and provide post campaign reports (results v objectives)
\n\tInclude sponsorship targets as key KPI\u00a0<\/p>\n
Digital Strategy:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute digital strategy
\n\tIncluding website, database management, social media, digital reputation management and other \/ innovative digital solutions (mobile app, mobile payments, influencer marketing etc.)<\/p>\n
CSI Strategy:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute CSI strategy
\n\tManage and report on free on Alternative Income and GLA space for CSI
\n\tAlign with Red Thread (where relevant)
\n\tKeep detailed reports and add to monthly reports\u00a0<\/p>\n
Tenant Marketing and relationship management:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute tenant marketing and relationship strategy
\n\tFocus on relationships:
\n\tManager tenant database
\n\tWelcome new tenants \/ tenant welcome pack
\n\tTenant meetings
\n\tTenant communication (including monthly newsletter)<\/p>\n
Other tenant focus areas:<\/p>\n
\tSecure participation in marketing initiatives
\n\tReport on tenant performance
\n\tDrive and execute tenant initiatives\u00a0<\/p>\n
Footprint awards:<\/p>\n
\tEntry into Footprint awards
\n\tEnsure at least 1 big idea is conceptualized and executed each year (or more as per KPI\u2019s)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Alternative Income:<\/p>\n
\tDrive income and ensure the mall reaches targets
\n\tSell promo and kiosk space or assist the Alternative Income team
\n\tAssist in set up\u2019s and strike downs of all exhibitions (in line with process)
\n\tInclude Alternative Income ideas and campaigns in the marketing strategy
\n\tCompletion and submission of check lists\u00a0<\/p>\n
Reporting:<\/p>\n
\tDevelopment and submission of monthly report
\n\tFocus on post campaign \/ initiatives reporting to show results v objectives\u00a0<\/p>\n
Other:<\/p>\n
\tExecute crisis communication when required (in line with policy)
\n\tTrack, manage and report on all shopper complaints
\n\tManagement of all guest relation officers and marketing assistants (if relevant \/ on-site)
\n\tLoading and vetting of new suppliers
\n\tManagement of all suppliers \/ strategic partners (such as media agencies, design studio\u2019s \/ agencies, events companies, website partners, social media agencies, print and production suppliers etc.)
\n\tManagement and storage of all marketing stock \/ materials
\n\tManagement and storage of Christmas D\u00e9cor<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tDegree \/ diploma
\n\t5-7 years of marketing \/ retail \/ brand or other relevant experience<\/p>\n
Job Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tAn understanding of retail marketing and brand marketing and all related functions
\n\tAbility to execute a strategy and achieve results
\n\tAn understanding of digital marketing \/ social media
\n\tAbility to interact confidently with all levels of people within the organization
\n\tAbility to manage teams effectively
\n\tAbility to manage marketing partners and suppliers effectively
\n\tAbility to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
\n\tAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
\n\tAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
