\tIf managing imports, coordinating freight, and ensuring compliance is your strength, you could be our next Import Controller – Seafreight
\n\tThis role is based at our Durban Airfreight \u00a0Branch.<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\t1-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 3 and 4<\/p>\n
Knowledge and experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years import controlling experience in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry with proven track record of end to end process execution.
\n\tSound knowledge of seafreight shipment types & claims\/insurance processes<\/p>\n
Advantageous attributes<\/p>\n
\tCustomer service orientation – Able to handle a demanding customer environment.
\n\tGood problem solving and decision-making skills.
\n\tDynamic self-starter that doesn\u2019t need to be told what to do and how to do it.
\n\tAttention to detail and handle pressure.
\n\tCan communicate with the team and contribute to the overall success of the team.<\/p>\n

\tForwarding of shipment
\n\tClearing of shipment
\n\tTransport Coordination
\n\tInvoicing and administration of shipment file
\n\tArrange insurance cover and process claims.
\n\tComply with the requirements of the quality management system.
